Gareth & Laura’s Surprise Proposal
Gareth is one of my oldest friends, so I was over the moon when he told me about his plans to propose to his Girlfriend, Laura, and asked me to capture the moment. I was rather nervous to get it right, but touched to be a part of such an important milestone in their lives.
Gareth took Laura to one of her favourite locations, Llanddwyn Island in Newborough. As I know them both so well, and Llanddwyn is such an open area, it was nerve-racking staying hidden until the right moment. If Laura saw me, I knew the game would be up. Luckily, my casual picnicker disguise paid off and I wasn’t spotted, phew!
Gareth got down on one knee, and Laura obviously said yes, and the rest was easy. I let them enjoy the moment, and captured some lovely, real time, candid shots. They couldn’t wait to share the photos with their friends and family, and I know they’ll treasure them for a lifetime.
